The Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of gluten-free quick oats
  • 1/2 cup flax seeds
  • 1 cup of raw almonds
  • 1 cup dried fruit (I like to use raisins or currants)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp salt

  2. Mix together everything except for the dried fruit in a bowl
  3. Place mixed ingredients on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Make sure that it is in one layer so it can cook evenly

  5. Remove from oven, stir the granola on the sheet, and cook for roughly another 5-10 minutes or until it is golden brown
  6. Remove and let cool
